North Trenholm is a church committed to
KNOW THE WORD of GOD
Beginning September 3, North Trenholm will begin the journey together through the F260 Reading Plan 12 months. F-260 is a two hundred and sixty day reading plan that highlights the foundational passages of Scripture that every disciple should know. A scripture guide will be available in the bulletin this Sunday.
THE WORD of God has tremendous purpose in our lives. Through studying it, meditating on it, and letting it become a daily pattern of spiritual discipline, it solidifies our faith and aligns us with God’s Will.

Know the Word - Discipleship Group
Join Pastor Casey in a pursuit to faithfully Know the Word of God together as a church. Each week we will learn how we can read through the scripture more effectively by walking through the North Trenholm F260 Reading Plan and hear how the Lord is speaking to each of us in our faith and in our lives. Meets in The Venue (Seminar Center).
What is the F260 and Who Should Use It?
After failed attempts of reading through the Bible in a year with previous discipleship groups, Replicate.org wanted a manageable plan that believers who never read the Bible before could complete.
How Does It Work?
The plan expects believers to read 1 or 2 chapters a day for 5 days each week, with an allowance for weekends off. The 2 off-days a week are built in so you may catch up on days where you’re unable to read In order to digest more of the Word.
Memorizing the Word
While many plans for memorizing Scripture are effective, a simple system has been provided in this plan. All you need is a pack of index cards and a committed desire to memorize God’s Word. It’s easy: write the reference of the verse on one side of the card and the text of the verse on the other. Focus on five verses at a time, and carry your pack of Scripture cards with you.
Throughout the day, whenever you have a few minutes, pull out your pack of Scripture cards and review them. Read the reference first, followed by the verse. Continue to recite the verse until you get a feel for the flow of the passage. When you are comfortable with the text, look only at the reference side of the card in order to test your recall.
