Sunday Morning Bible Study Classes
At North Trenholm, we believe the Gospel is our center. Jesus Himself said that eternal life is knowing the only true God (John 17:3). Classes help us keep our center by fostering a love for God through His Word in community. Our classes are age-based classes, with an emphasis on sound doctrine for each class. We believe these classes will help you find community through God’s Word while walking alongside people in a similar season of life.

JEREMY NATES | College, 20s & 30s The Nates class explores a variety of expositional topics throughout the different books of the Bible drawing from several different commentaries and study books. In August, they will study CNVCTNS, then followed by a study on fear of man in September. |
MCGEE MOODY | 40s & 50s The Moody class explores a variety of expositional topics throughout the different books of the Bible drawing from several different commentaries and study books. In August, they will study CNVCTNS, and followed by a study on fear of man in September. |
JOE COPELAND & MIKE MAJOR | 50s & 60s The Copeland/Major class explores a variety of expositional topics throughout the different books of the Bible drawing from several different commentaries and study books. In August and September they will be surveying the New Testament. |
DON GROTTI & JUSTIN HOWARD | 30s & 40s The Grotti/Howard class explores a variety of expositional topics throughout the different books of the Bible drawing from several different commentaries and study books. MCCRACKEN/KNAPP | 60s & Up The McCracken/Knapp class uses the Lifeway Sunday School curriculum called Bible Studies for Life: Seniors which provides followers of Jesus with a pathway to walk on as they become more like Jesus and advance His kingdom. In August and September they will be studying serving alongside others and living on purpose. |
JIM CLOER | 60s & Up The Copeland class uses the Lifeway Sunday School curriculum called Explore the Bible which is an expository, book-by-book study of Scripture. In August and September they will be studying through Acts. |

Small Groups
At North Trenholm we believe that our faith is stronger together (Ephesians 4:15-16). God made us in His image, and that means we are made for loving relationships with one another (Genesis 1:26-27; Matthew 22:39). Community is an essential part of following Jesus, and groups help foster a growing love for one another (Galatians 6:10; 1 Thessalonians 5:11). Groups meet in homes and on different nights of the week, and they are a great way to belong to Christ's loving community. Striving to know and be known by others in Christ is how our faith is made stronger.
Adults
- Meeting in Northeast Columbia, the Scriber group gathers from 7:00-8:30 pm on Tuesday nights. They alternate between discussing the Sunday sermon and studying through books of the Bible. The group is made up of various aged couples. Please contact Seth Scriber or 772.924.6057 for more information.
- Meeting near Downtown Columbia, the Howard group gathers from 6:30-8:00 pm on Sunday evenings. They usually study a book of the Bible and regularly share meals together. The group is open to anyone: singles, couples, and families alike. For more information, please contact Justin Howard.
